Shawhaven Haunted Farms REVIEW

The first haunt of the season we had the opportunity to visit was one of the largest in the Lansing area, Shawhaven Haunted Farm.
With a full 140 acres, Shawhaven offers three seperate haunts for your scaring pleasure. The haunts include The Deadmaze, Wagon of Fear, and Samara's Boarding House.
Creatures of every kind lurk at every corner in the Deadmaze. You never know who's going to pop out or where you'll end up.
Samara's Boarding House is a unique experience. It is one of the only inflatable haunts in Michigan. With many twists and turns, you wonder if you'll ever get out.
The Wagon of Fear takes you deep into the woods and exposes you to the creatures and madness that awaits you.
Another attraction that you will not find anywhere else in Michigan is The Last Ride. For $5 you can experience for yourself your last journey, six feet under. This is a truly unique experience that you will never forget.
Shawhaven is a great haunted attraction that you will die for. We rate this haunt a 3 out of 5 skulls.

Halloween Costumes

Looking for a unique costume that you just can't find at any other store? Stop into the Lansing Civic Players Costume Shop. There, they have thousands of choices to choose from. You will not find any place cheaper than LCP's Costume Shop. Prices start at $45 and include the costume, wig (if needed), and accessories. At any other store you could spent up to $90. You will receive help from their helpful staff and be able to keep the costume for a week. The LCP Costume Shop is located in Lansing on the corner of Michigan and Hayford. The address is 2300 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, Mi 4812. Costume shop hours are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00pm- 6:00pm; Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm (Appointment only on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

Shawhaven Haven Haunted Farms

Fear  surrounds the Farm. All 140 acres  have been lost onto
a haze of despair, since the dark years when the crops and  animals were lost to
a devastating invasion of bugs. Fear had engulfed all the  grounds.

Local people  have tried to face their fears on the Wagons  of
Fear.  Some exit safely and  unchanged only to be lost into the 
darkness of despair with time. Others try to  make the trip through the Dead Maze to  the next town only to join those that linger
within the corn between the worlds.

A new  darkness has covered the Farm and it  surrounds Samara’s Boarding House.  It’s the last place to try if you’re
on your way to a new life, it’ll be a new  life you never expected. People check in but few check out.
